Are Organic Food Products in the Market Organic? Today, several products in the market say “Organic”. For marketing reasons, companies name their products and company as Organic. As soon as people see the company name as Organic, they assume all their products are Organic, which is false.

Some of the websites just portray as 100% Organic but their products are not certified. Even without proper testing, the food products are labelled as certified products. The Organic Food Products in the Market are not really Organic.

Recently we called a couple of Organic certifying companies and Labs that certified ghee as “A2 Cow Ghee”. They said that their way of testing was to visit the farm and check if the cow they have was A2 Naatu Pasu Maadu or Native Cow and won’t do any actual testing.

If they see native breed cows, they will check whether they are giving any good food for the animals and give some suggestions and recommendations. And then the farm must pay Rs.50,000 to 1 lakh per year for the certification.

So basically, there is no testing involved. We must trust whatever the people are saying. We in our Lab tested such Organic products and found that they are not genuine. Before buying any food products, check if they are tested and certified by authorized testing and certification company.

But despite that, people can still cheat the testing labs like us. We have five levels of testing. So, the more testing we do, the more we know how genuine it is. But we must do at least the basic level of testing to keep our health in good condition.
