NABL Accreditation – Food Testing Laboratory

AMMAGENOMICS Food Testing Laboratory is accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL), India, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – General Requirements for the Competence of Testing and Calibration Laboratories, for specific food testing parameters as defined in the approved Scope of Accreditation.
This accreditation confirms the laboratory’s technical competence, quality systems, and compliance with internationally accepted testing standards only for the tests listed in the NABL-approved scope.
Scope of NABL Accreditation – Food Testing
AMMAGENOMICS Food Testing Laboratory is accredited for a defined scope of food testing parameters, including molecular, chemical, and microbiological analyses, as officially approved by NABL.

What NABL Accreditation Means
NABL accreditation demonstrates that:
- Testing is performed using validated methodsunder a documented quality system
- Personnel, equipment, and infrastructure meet competence requirements
- Results are generated with traceability, quality control, and technical integrity
- Accredited test results are internationally acceptableunder the ILAC-MRA framework, only for parameters included in the approved scope

NABL accreditation applies only to specific tests and matrices listed in the Scope of Accreditation. It does not imply blanket accreditation of all laboratory services or activities.

- AMMAGENOMICS may offer additional scientifically valid tests that are outside the scope of NABL accreditation; such tests are clearly identified as non-accreditedwhere applicable.
Use of NABL Accreditation & Reports
- NABL accreditation applies only to test reports carrying the NABL symboland issued for parameters within the approved scope.
- Reports for non-accredited tests are issued without the NABL symboland are clearly identified.
- The NABL logo shall not be interpreted as product certification, regulatory approval, or legal clearance for sale.
International Recognition (ILAC-MRA)
NABL is a signatory to the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation – Mutual Recognition Arrangement (ILAC-MRA).
This means:
- Accredited test results are technically accepted internationally,
- Only for parameters covered under the approved NABL scope,
- Subject to importing country regulations and statutory requirements.
