Program Overview
AMMAGENOMICS Training and Research Institute offers various opportunities for Life Science students and graduates who are looking for the latest Life Science job-oriented courses, Internships and Training programs to groom themselves by learning the new molecular techniques and also by getting proper hands-on training to develop their technical skills. Those who want to pursue their final year project and their mini project can also approach us.
- AMMAGENOMICS is an NABL Accredited and ICMR Approved Lab with centers at 1/87 Arcot Road, Saligramam, Chennai 600093 and 1/129 Arcot Road, Virugambakkam, Chennai 600092.
- All the modules are designed in such a way to help the students, who want to pursue a great career in the field of Life Science.
- Students can choose their module of interest and if they would like to extend then they can opt for additional modules and gain more hands-on training.
- We can also design internship projects based on your individual requirements.
- On completion of each module, a training certificate will be issued.
AMMAGENOMICS Hands-On Training
We are offering hands-on training in Molecular Biology Techniques like:
- We also give specific hands-on training in DNA & RNA Extraction techniques such as:
- Spin Column Method
- Magnetic Silica Bead Method
- We provide summer internships for High School, Bachelor, and Master’s degree final year projects in the field of Life Science.
- We also offer one month, three months and six months mini projects to students in order to get themselves trained in the latest Molecular Biology Techniques.

Students who are willing to do their Undergraduate and Postgraduate projects under the guidance of AMMAGENOMICS Molecular Testing Lab can approach us, and we will provide you the perfect environment and guidance for completing your dream project. Also, AMMAGENOMICS will provide mini projects to the interested students in the field of Molecular Biology and Food Technology. The Undergraduate and Postgraduate project duration will vary from one month to six months.

- Introduction to basic molecular Biology and PCR Techniques
- Hands-on training in DNA extraction (Magnetic bead method & Spin column method)
- Hands-on training in PCR
- A special training on fundamentals of research study design
- One day AMMAGENOMICS lab tour

Individual Projects & Mini Projects
Upon special request training period can be customized and extended. You can also approach us for individual projects or mini projects. The pricing may vary based on the complexity of the project. Get in touch with us to discuss in person.
Eligibility criteria
The students who are pursuing and completed any Life Science course and want to learn and get themselves trained in the basic Molecular Biology Techniques can apply for this Internship program. The Undergraduate and Postgraduate students can also apply for an extended internship program during their semester holidays. Students who are willing to take up summer projects can also apply.
High school students can also apply for the internship. We will be teaching some cool and exciting DIY experiments as well.
