Why do you need to test fruits/vegetables?
In recent years, due to the increased demand and to make more profit, many local vendors, farmers, wholesale dealers to supermarkets, adulterate the vegetables and fruits and their products with chemical pesticides like calcium carbide, copper sulfate for ripening, inject hormone injections, add harmful synthetic coloring agents such as malachite green dye, and add oxytocin saccharin wax coating to make them appear healthy and shiner. Moreover these days all the fruits and vegetables are obtained in packets, cans and in processed form. So in order to preserve them and increase their shelf life, the vendors add preservatives and formalin-like chemicals which are very toxic to our health.
