Patent Pending Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit
Our Patent Pending Nucleic Acid Extraction Kit including DNA and RNA is showing high-quality results. Compared with other international brand extraction kits in the market, our AMGCS Extraction Kit gives better yield, and good CT value in PCR and sequencing data shows reproducibility.
AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) Stool DNA/RNA Extraction Kit: The Patent Pending Stool Extraction Kit extracts DNA and RNA free from PCR and sequencing inhibitors. The sequencing data shows that AMGCS Extraction Kit had a high percentage of gram-positive bacteria than the international brand DNA Extraction Kit.
The missed species is only 2.5 % in AMGCS extracted DNA compared to 13% with the other kit. For sequencing, an ideal kit should not miss any OTUs in any taxa level, especially Gram-Positive bacteria.
This is because Gram-Positive bacteria have a thick rigid cell wall that makes it more difficult to lyse than Gram-Negative microorganisms. (Auer GK, Bacterial cell mechanics. Biochemistry 2017; 56: 3710–3724). For clinical samples, an ideal kit that does a single-cell lysis procedure that breaks resistant cell walls without degrading gDNA is preferred.
AMGCS Kits are less time-consuming because there is no need for the use of the enzymes Mutanolysin and Lysostaphin in addition to Lysozyme to break open Gram-Positive microorganisms.
This has huge applications in detecting many clinical pathogens while doing vaginal and urinary tract infections, milk products, etc.

AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) Plant DNA/RNA Extraction Kit: The Patent Pending Plant Extraction Kit extracts DNA and RNA free from PCR and sequencing inhibitors like polyphenols. The data shows that DNA from all plant samples which are very rich in polyphenols showed better PCR-usable DNA than international brand kits.
We took the sample of polyphenol-rich plants and compared our AMGCS Kit with two other international brand kits. The PCR Analysis shows that our kit detected the DNA in earlier CT than the other kits.
AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) Soil DNA/RNA Extraction Kit: The Patent Pending Environmental Soil Extraction Kit extracts DNA and RNA free from PCR and sequencing inhibitors like polyphenols. The data shows that DNA from all soil samples which are very rich in humic acids, urea, metals, polyphenols, and polysaccharides, showed better PCR-usable DNA and high-quality sequencing data than using international brand kits.

The data shows that DNA from blood, plasma, serum, and sperm samples showed better PCR-usable DNA and high-quality sequencing data than using international brand kits. Very important is the better Mitochondrial DNA CT values which again proves that the kit is efficient in breaking microbial cells and here mitochondria also which are of microbial origin. This is very important for diagnostic purposes of whole/clinical exome and Mitochondrial Genome Sequencing samples.

The data shows that DNA from various clinical, environmental, soil, stool, indoor molds, agricultural and from food samples showed better PCR-usable DNA and high-quality sequencing data than using international brand kits.
This kit extraction gives a high yield and does not require enzymes like Lyticase or Proteinase K to break the cell wall.
Here we used brown mushroom samples. The graphs show a comparison of PCR Analysis of AMGCS Kit with the branded kit.
AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) Dairy / Dairy Products DNA/RNA Extraction Kit: The Patent Pending Dairy DNA Extraction Kit extracts DNA and RNA free from PCR and sequencing inhibitors. The data shows that DNA from dairy products like cheese, milk, yogurt, fermented products, and beverages like beer, and wine samples showed better PCR-usable DNA and high-quality sequencing data than using international brand kits.
We compared our AMGCS kit with an international brand kit available in the market for some dairy products. We extracted cheese and paneer.
Two primers Lactobacillus and Delbrueckii were used and the PCR results show that compared to the international brand kit, our AMGCS kit showed earlier CT and had high throughput.
AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) Formalin-Fixed, Paraffin-Embedded (FFPE) DNA/RNA Extraction Kit: The Patent Pending FFPE Kit extracts DNA and RNA free from PCR and sequencing inhibitors like paraffin and formalin. The data shows that DNA from FFPE samples showed better PCR-usable DNA than branded kits.
AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) Saliva Direct DNA/RNA PCR Kit: The Patent Pending Extraction-Free, Direct PCR or Semi-Purified Kit extracts DNA and RNA with reduced PCR and Sequencing inhibitor levels without compromising the quality. The data shows that DNA from all types of samples showed PCR usable DNA equal to Purified DNA, which also gives high-quality sequencing data than using branded kits. This is important to save time, reduce plastic and another accessory usage, avoid automation, and errors in transfer steps and is also economical for cost-cutting and saving mode for cheap lab testing. We can do custom-made kits also for customers with unique challenges.
AMMAGENOMICS (AMGCS) MTB Kit: The Patent Pending MTB DNA/RNA Extraction Kit extracts DNA and RNA free from PCR and sequencing inhibitors.
The data shows that MTB DNA from blood, plasma, serum sputum, urine and stool samples showed better PCR usable DNA and also high-quality sequencing data than using branded kits. This is very important for diagnostic Nucleic Acid tests (NAAT, NATs) tests of infectious diseases like the Mycobacterial Culture Test and Microscopy and Staining still remain the gold standard test.
Mycobacterium Tuberculosis (MTB) DNA in clinical paucibacillary specimens using single copy genomic PCR targets, such as IS6110, rpoB and drug-resistant strain genes, needs high sensitivity and specificity, especially for Pediatric TB, Corneal Ocular Tuberculosis, Pulmonary EPTB, are challenges for clinicians and researchers.
PCR-based and sequencing tests are more sensitive and reliable tests however have to face the challenge of breaking the tough spore-forming bacillus spore cell wall made of complex lipophilic mycolic acids and polysaccharides. Sonication, boiling, heating, microwaving, use of homogenizer using silica or zirconium bead beating, using chaotropic detergents like Sodium Dodecyl Sulphate (SDS), CTAB, along with enzymes like lysozyme and proteinase K for breaking cells.
This takes several hours or days to do DNA extraction. AMGCS Kit takes less than one hour to do DNA extraction with its Patent Pending method.

The data shows that DNA from Saliva, Vaginal swab samples, dairy products like cheese, milk, yoghurt, fermented products, and urinary samples showed better PCR usable DNA and also high-quality sequencing data than using branded kits.
Gardnerella-dominant, Escherichia-dominant and Lactobacillus-dominant bacteria are expressed in recurring urinary tract infections ( rUTI). Gardenalla indicates bacterial vaginosis, which is usually not detected in the lab culture method. Our kit shows good detection in the PCR method than other branded kits.
